wild seed (zine)

wild seed is the story of the regeneration and rewilding of a 2 hectare block of land in Northland, New Zealand between 2011-2023. When purchased the ex-farmland was covered in mature gorse and other exotic invasive species. Initially tracks connecting small keyholes were cut in the gorse and food and support species were introduced. Eventually these areas merged and a mature foodforest now flourishes along with regenerating native bush and seasonal meadows and waterways.

It is an ongoing project.
